Furnace

The Furnace is the first ore-processing station in Core Keeper, smelting raw ore into bars for tools and equipment. It’s the bridge between mining copper/tin and crafting metal gear.

What it processes

• Copper Ore → Copper Bar
• Tin Ore → Tin Bar
• Later: Iron, Gold and Scarlet bars for higher tiers

The parallel furnace trick

You can’t speed up a single furnace’s smelting time — but you can build several furnaces and process ores concurrently. A row of 3–4 furnaces next to a chest of ore cuts early-game waiting dramatically.

Tips

• Place furnaces near your workbench so smelting and crafting flow together
• Feed them from a chest; grab bars as they finish
• Upgrade path: Smelting Kilns unlock in later tiers for faster processing
