Caveling Brute

The Caveling Brute is a slow but hard-hitting melee enemy found in The Undergrounds and The Clay Caves. It hits much harder than a normal Caveling — don’t tank its swings.

Combat tips

• Dodge, don’t block: its swings are telegraphed; sidestep rather than trading hits
• Kite it: it’s slower than the player, so attack between its swing cooldowns
• Iron gear comfort: with 140 HP and 16 damage, it’s manageable in copper but much safer in tin+

Drops

• Caveling Remains (common) — salvage/repair material
• Iron Ore (common) — early source before you reach The Forgotten Ruins
